Business Services Semi-Senior Nottingham

Our Client:

We are currently working with a well-established Chartered Accountant based in Nottingham.

They are now looking for a Semi Senior Accountant / Business Services to join and support their growing team.

The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide range of work to include:

• Managing accounts work by others including outsourcing providers.

• Client management accounting (Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks knowledge).

• Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Company, and Partnerships.

• Processing Partnership Tax Returns.

• Accurate data entry input and updating.

Key requirements for this Semi Senior Accountant Role in Nottingham:

• ACCA/ACA exam qualified preferred but not essential.

• Accounting and finance or other relevant degree preferred but not essential.

• Good up-to-date and recent developments in accounting standards.

• Experience of OMB's covering a range of industries.

• Dynamic self-starter

• Committed team player.

• Attention to detail.

• Deadline driven and ability to thrive on pressure.

• Organisation skills - ability multitask and prioritise workload.

• A highly motivated individual.

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

• Client focused and commercially aware

• Technical approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Computer packages - Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, Iris, CCH Pro audit, VT.

What's on offer?

• Competitive salary £23,000 - £27,000, depending on experience
