Product Installation Auditor

This position involves direct interaction in multiple recreational vehicle manufacturing facilities. Record and provide detailed information to assist with correcting installation procedures involved with a wide range of Lippert Components products.

Essential Functions
  • Provides proactive and extraordinary service to all external customers. Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Provides installation information on LCI products. Audits the installations and provides informative reports and solutions.
  • Professionally interacts with personnel from LCI customers and LCI manufacturing.
  • Handles, resolves and takes ownership of all internal and external customer opportunities. Root causes of problems are identified, and corrective actions diplomatically communicated.
  • General knowledge of the Recreational Vehicle Industry.
  • Performs all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to navigate ladders and steps and climb into and out of recreational vehicles with out assistance or the use of steps and ladders. Bending, stooping, kneeling and laying on the ground required. Must be able to spend long periods of time standing on concrete and working safely in busy hectic environments. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

    Travel

    This position requires daily local travel with potential opportunity to travel over night.

    Required Education and Experience
  • High school degree or GED
  • Able to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Must be able accurately record data.

  • Preferred Education and Experience
  • Recreational Vehicle Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Assembly, mechanical and electrical aptitude is desirable.
  • Able to read, understand and explain installation manuals.
