  • Edu cation: 4 year Degree Required. Accounting or Finance Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years required - Minimum 1 year in healthcare setting preferred.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Excel experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with interim and annual financial reporting. Lawson experience highly desirable.
  • Essential Functions:
    • Process: Performs with guidance: Conducts financial analyses. Develops and produces ad hoc
      reports for users throughout the organization. Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities.
      Decipher/Translate advanced materials for non-technical users. Complete given tasks, considering
      appropriate scope with guidance.
    • Research and Analysis: Performs independently with guidance as needed: Performs clerical duties
      (i.e. processing payments/claims/invoices/mailings). Research accounting/ reporting/ compliance
      issues as needed. Apply financial accounting standards to specific transactions/situations/scenarios.
      Evaluate/Assess/Comply with Internal Controls. Evaluate conclusions for reasonableness by thinking
      about explanations prior to discussion with manager.
    • Collaboration: Identifies a problem and brings it to the attention of manager or lead. Develops
      possible solutions for discussion with manager or lead. Collaborate across departments by seeking
      assistance from Manager or lead prior to reaching out.
    • Quality Improvement: Review work product for accuracy of inputs prior to sending to manager or
      other client. When possible, identify process improvements and bring to the attention of
      management. Understand role and responsibilities; have a basic understanding of how everything fits
      together
