We are currently looking for a Senior Solutions Specialist (Commercial Risk) to join our Product Sales team on a full-time permanent basis in Sydney.

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide industry relevant subject matter expertise and knowledge of Commercial Risk concepts so as to support the wider illion sales team to identify, qualify and close relevant revenue generating opportunities across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Working closely with sales, product management, marketing, legal services and finance; the Commercial Risk Senior Solutions Specialist will be principally responsible for increasing the penetration of Commercial Risk specific services and solutions in market and thereby grow illion revenues through existing and new product take-up and through the incubation of initiatives that promote the development of new services and solutions.

You will also be responsible for:
  • Assist segment sales teams in securing new business opportunities with key decision makers and by supporting the execution of complex transactions
  • Supporting the segment sales teams to develop client propositions, developing and communicating solutions specific value propositions
  • Providing relevant product strategy and solution input into strategically targeted key account planning and management
  • Leads client presentations and demonstrations
  • Build strong relationships with segment sales teams, product management, marketing, legal and finance
  • Driving and developing product intellectual collateral and solution IP

  • The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Extensive practitioner / consulting level experience in a Commercial / Business risk management discipline such as portfolio management, risk reporting and analytics, risk systems and process and risk model development
  • Deep understanding of the credit reference / bureau market landscape in both Australia and New Zealand
  • Ability to shape complex client problems, providing insight into solutions (using illion solutions)
  • Experience of identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions with an international context.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry specific experience and subject matter expertise
  • Solutions sales in B2B environments
