What will you be doing?

  • Assist in the preparation of periodic Management Reports and Annual Financial Statements
  • Calculate trust distributions and prepare distribution statements
  • Perform account reconciliations and prepare journals
  • Preparation of BAS returns
  • Assist with the audit of Annual Financial Statements
  • Assist with review of trust tax returns
  • Respond to accounting enquiries from various stakeholders
  • Support the Trust Accountants on the delivery of Trust accounting services
  • Maintain relationships with clients / investors.

  • What you will need to succeed:

    To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
  • University accounting degree and/or studying towards being qualified accountant
  • 2+ years experience in chartered accounting firm (required)
  • Working knowledge of managed funds and ideally investment management experience or other relevant experience in relation to MITs and Securitisation (not a requirement but is an advantage)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Accounting Systems (XERO)
  • Attention to detail and sound analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent client management skills and experience.
