My client, a utilities business, has recently been acquired by an ASX listed business, is looking for a Finance Manager initially on a 6 months assignment. You will be immediately available to commence working.

The role is responsible for the management of the accounting function and associated compliance, managing a small team of 5.
  • Complete the month-end closing procedure and general ledger reconciliation
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Maintain fixed assets register & corresponding depreciation schedule
  • Provide various management reports with commentary for internal financial analysis
  • Assistant annual budgeting and analyse budget vs. actual variance
  • Support sales team with sales analysis and return on investment
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and FX exposure analysis
  • Monitor system performance to ensure the validity and integrity of ERP system
  • Assist with preparation of annual financial accounts, company tax return and FBT return

  • About you:

    · CA / CPA qualified

    · Exceptional communication skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders within the business

    · To work effectively within a team environment and have the ability to interact with senior management

    · Previous NetSuite/large ERP system experience highly desired

    · Ability to effectively manage the transactional finance staff

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills

    · Be proactive in problem solving regarding system and process issues
