Our client is an established public listed company with diversified business interests. Currently they are recruiting for professionally qualified Accountant to join their finance team based at their corporate head office at Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.

Key role & responsibilities
This role will be responsible for handling group consolidation, financial and management reporting. The primary role is to provide accurate, timely statutory reporting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for presentation to the management of the business. The position is required to support the Head of Finance to streamline existing processes and practices, develop a more robust financial reporting/information.
As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the provision of detailed analysis, reporting and commercial support to help monitor and improve the financial performance of the company.
Duties will involve the following area scope of responsibilities:
Timely review, preparation and delivery of ad hoc, monthly and yearly financial and management reports.
Maintenance and analysis of financial and operational KRA/KPI and dashboards.
Involved in all segments of Financial planning and Analysis.
Analysis of complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making.
Analysis and tasks aimed at effective internal controls and undertake operational review to ensure continuous process improvement.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
About the candidate
This role will suit an experienced ACCA qualified Accountant who has strong financial,statutory and taxation accounts preparation experience. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Female in age group 30-35.
ACCA graduate.
Member of MIA.
A total of 5 years in accounting and analytical financial role in middle-level would be preferred.
Prior work experience in Big 4 or second tier audit set up will be favorably looked upon.
Demonstrated experience in management reporting or similar financial/commercial analytical role in international company would be advantageous.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English with good report writing skill is a prerequisite.
Advance Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills are essential.
