Asst Manager,Group Accounts & Finance
About the hiring company (Our client)
Our client is a group of companies listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia. Their business activities are diversified. Currently they are looking for a qualified Accountant to assume the role of Assistant Manager, Group Accounts & Finance based at their corporate head office at Glenmarie in Shah Alam.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the Group's portfolio role.
•Preparation of group consolidated financial statements, group management reports and financial analysis and Bursa reporting and announcements.
•Manage the yearly group budget/projections.
•Review inter-company balances, reconciliation and ensure inter-company debt notes are issued.
•Responsible for tax submission.
•Assist with the preparation of annual report.
While undertaking the Group reporting role, the Assistant Manager will also be responsible to maintain proper and accurate accounting records among the subsidiary companies ensuring timely production of management Accounts and Statutory accounts. Her/she will be responsible on compliance to all statutory reporting requirements of the Group.
Candidate profile & Experience
•Malaysian male or female in age group 30-40.
•Candidate must be tertiary qualified Accountant and be a member of MIA; possess professional qualification ACCA/CIMA or Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
•Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with strong consolidation skills.
•Prior audit experience will be a plus point .
To be considered for this senior role, candidate must possess a strong communication skills in English plus conversant in BM and Mandarin.
