The Role

To support our rapidly expanding business, we are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Christchurch based Operations team for a 6-month contract in a full-time capacity.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, in this hands-on role, you will have the opportunity to provide support across a range of projects, including assisting with consolidating our CRM systems, identifying key trends, risk, and opportunities across several data sources. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, environment and be highly adaptable to changing priorities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Identify opportunities to improve and develop existing BI tools, through emerging trends in BI technologies.
• Conduct analysis across variable projects including costs/benefit and variance analysis.
• Analyse financial and operational data from variable systems, reconciling this data to confirm accuracy and then performing analysis.
• Work the Commercial Manager to establish KPI's, enabling reporting to measure and monitor performance vs the KPIs.
• Collaborate and work closely with our global Sales, Commercial and Product teams

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Sound administration experience.
• Knowledge, skills, and experience in customer service and managing orders.
• Proven work experience with CRM and Financial systems.
• Possess proven word processing, spreadsheet, and customer recording system skills.
• Confident oral and written communication skills with the ability to write quality reports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and relate to people across all levels of the organisation.
