Your opportunity

As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst for NRMA Marine, you will be supporting and driving the financial outcomes for the business. This role reports into the Senior Commercial Finance Manager - NRMA Marine.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Provide decision support to the business team through Building financial models for business cases and to challenge / drive growth; and Developing robust business cases and undertake financial feasibility analyses to support investments and growth initiatives
  • Support and contribute to the development and delivery of the annual business plan, budgets and financial forecasts, to ensure that NRMA Marine can achieve its strategic plans
  • Responsible for delivering regular KPI performance updates for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Works closely with the Group Finance team and the business for month end financial close and various internal/external reporting requirements
  • Support the business team to manage expenditure budgets to drive both short and longer term initiatives

  • Requirements for Success:
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Effective leadership and management skills and proven track record in people management
  • Strategic stakeholder engagement
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Commerce or Accounting
  • 10+ years' experience, of which some time has been spent in strategic business partnering
  • Proficient use of financial, reporting and data management / visualization tools (Oracle R3 / TM1 / SQL / Tableau)
