Due to recent expansion and growth, they are now looking for a Company Accountant to take full accountability for the financial management so that the Directors can make data-driven decisions to thrive into the future.
In this unique and rewarding opportunity, you will be required to:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting function - including preparation and reconciliation of the monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, financial control of stock and supervision of the payroll
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
  • Present financial information to the Directors, to enable data-led decision making
  • Management of the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Detailed financial analysis including financial modelling, cash flows and variance analysis to ensure that the business is operating in an efficient and effective manner
  • Managing supplier payments
  • Oversight of the administration function of the business to ensure all requirements are met
  • Ensure tax compliance/preparation of tax return information (GST/FBT
  • Oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Functions

  • About You
    Sportitude is looking for an experienced Accountant with a passion for sport. Qualified (CA/ CPA) and experience in a small to medium-sized business (either direct from public practise or in a commercial business) where you have had a hands-on and strategic role would be preferred. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to translate financial information and concepts into plain English. You will have a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously with limited technical management. You will have strong experience with systems, in particular, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
