We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to work for an exciting and creative digital /tech business based in Bristol. As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for the smooth running of all financial aspects of the business. The experience we need.

-Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

-4+ years' financial management experience

-Strong knowledge of project-based accounting software and Sage (current financial software)

-Impeccable mathematics, data manipulation and analytical skills

-Able to meet tight deadlines as needed

-Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

-Excellent IT skills

-Previous experience in digital/creative/marketing industry advantageous, not essential

-Excellent communication and influencer skills

The role.

The Financial Controller position is accountable for the overall accounting operations, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with accepted accounting principles.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional accountant, hands-on with company finances, and commercially aware to support us in how to optimise our financial performance.

The Finance Controller will report into the Chief Operating Officer and will have line management responsibility for the Financial Assistant.
