A successful UK business is looking for a Financial Controller. This Financial Controller position is a newly created role within the team and would lend itself to someone with a broad range of experience covering both the core accounting elements as well as the commercial & strategic side. The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and manage a team of 10+ people in finance and will be tasked with coaching, developing and shaping the team in line with company requirements.

The Financial Controller will take ownership for the delivery of the monthly finance processes but will also work closely with a range of stake holders to drive insight into financial performance. This may involve providing insightful reporting, commentary & analysis, implementation of new visual dashboards, partnering with different departments, investigating key drivers of profitability and 'bringing it to life' for the management team.

The Financial Controller will require a formal accounting qualification (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent) and demonstrable experience managing and developing teams. This individual will also need to display that they have the hands on experience for the role i.e. all round experience across financial control and commercial finance.
