We will count on you to:
Identify new business prospects and work closely with the relevant teams to progress on theseResearch and maintain updated prospect profiles on each potential accountMaximise team and account profitability through the implementation of efficient and effective work practices, adequate client billing and sensible expense controlMonitor/control work flow priorities to ensure all goals/targets are achievedApply industry knowledge to have advise clients on relevant risk and insurance market trends and Marsh solutionsAssist in developing a Sales plan annually in conjunction with Credit specialtiesParticipate in industry events and/or conferences to expand your professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent MarshPrepare and participate in trade credit training activity to product specialists and general practitioners within MarshProvide local representation and participate in Credit Specialties - Global Business Development groupsAssume primary responsibility and management of the creation and preparation of localised Marsh Trade Credit marketing collateral and thought leadership for distribution to Marsh colleagues, prospects and clientsRecognise and capitalise upon revenue generation, growth and other opportunitiesContributes to the firm's body of knowledge through active internal communication to keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditionsContributes to client retention through effective risk solutions and excellence in service
What you need to have:
Proven BD and sales experienceClient management experience of large corporates, banks and non-bank financial institutionsTertiary qualification in accounting or related discipline is preferred but not essentialTier 1 FSRA qualified essential10 years or greater experience within trade credit or a credit specialties function within a financial institutionUnderstanding of working capital solutions and short term financing structures, particularly supply chain and receivables financeNegotiating and Influencing skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Highly motivated, with a client, service and solutions mindset
