  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced accounts assistant to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).

    About the role

    Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position will assist with the day to day processing of supplier invoices through accounts payable ledger. This includes, but not limited to, processing and monitoring transactions through the subsidiary ledgers, answering queries from suppliers, creating purchase orders along with other administration duties.

    Based at our Central Office location in Camberwell, the position is full-time and the successful candidate will be offered a 12 month fixed-term contract - with a possibility of extending this beyond the 12 month period following review of business and operational needs at that time.

    Skills, experience and qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary or diploma/certificate level qualification (preferable).
  • Previous experience in a similar role/capacity
  • Sound knowledge of finance practices.
  • Exposure to computerised accounting systems (preferably SAGE).
  • Strong skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel (advanced), Work and Outlook.

    A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $51k to $53k per annum, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
