Financial Controller: Tax

Job & Company Description:

An opportunity opened with one of our JSE listed clients and they require the skills of a seasoned Financial Controller with a strong taxation background. The company has been in operations for almost 20 years. The ideal incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to full financial function, consolidations of trial balances, consolidation of investment trial balances, IFRS, group taxation review.

Education:

• BCom finance or accounting degree
• Post grad diploma in taxation a non-negotiable

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 - 5 years financial controlling or group accounting experience
• Property industry experience would be an added advantage
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Microsoft Excel advanced
• Strong taxation background
