The Finance and Business Services Centre plays the primary role in the strategic management of financial resources across the University. Our aim is to partner with our customers and provide them with superior services that deliver professional relationships, efficient processes and sound financial management to support the University's objectives.
The Finance Team has the primary responsibility to deliver high quality financial management and business support to Schools and Service Centres through the following activities:
A vital part of these teams are the Finance Officers who are responsible for providing a range of accounting support services in delivery of the team's objectives. The key responsibilities of this role includes, but is not limited to:
The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, practices and procedures, and of computer based accounting systems (preferably Oracle Financials).
