  • Undertake the automation of key reports into SSRS especially in the development and automation of client and matter reporting
  • Undertake continuous improvement initiatives on business processes, new strategic business initiatives and organisational priorities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all reporting content is accurate and captured in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of the firm's practice management system to understand reporting fields
  • Working with Senior Systems Consultant to troubleshoot issues raised by users arising from the practice management system
  • Collaborate with users to ensure technical solutions considered are workable and consistent
  • Ability to extract complex queries and data where an existing report is not available
  • Assist with the maintenance of the firm's practice management system performing troubleshooting issues
  • Manage, develop and maintain financial reporting solutions and ensure that the firm's content management methodology follows best practice
  • Automate global client reporting requirements as directed by the global team
  • Assist the firm with various projects to streamline and automate reports

  • Requirements
  • Highly developed attention to detail, analytical and conceptual skills, strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Highly developed organisational skills - demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to interpret financial and non-financial data to effectively add value to key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Presents a professional, friendly and client-focused approach at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
  • Must have experience with developing Microsoft SQL queries and SSRS dashboard and reports
  • Experience within the professional services industry, in particular a top tier commercial law firm (desirable)
  • Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI (desirable)
  • Experience writing VBA (desirable)
