  • Your Purpose

    You will support our Secondary Processing (Cheese) manufacturing assets both owned and third party manufacturing to deliver value; drive business improvement through commercial insight, collaboration and financial discipline. The Senior Finance Analyst will be integral to sites in Bayswater, Tullamarine and Campbellfield and will work closely with them and support the Finance Manager to achieve plant, site and regional strategic and performance objectives.

    The key responsibilities for the role are:
  • Providing accounting, budgeting, forecasting and costing services for the secondary processing sites in accordance with the company accounting timetable and reporting requirements. Ensure that all local and corporate reporting requirements are met and that the various departments/functions on site are conversant with the accounting systems, policies and procedures, budget and forecast positions for their areas of responsibility.
  • Support the Finance Manager and the site teams to ensure the accuracy of product costs for products produced at the respective manufacturing sites.
  • Provide the necessary commercial support, insight and challenge to the site and operations leadership team.
  • Focus on the key value drivers of the region related to operational effectiveness (yield, quality, OEE, cost management), capital effectiveness and recovery maximization.
  • Support the improvement in core controls and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to develop a broader view of regional performance.
  • Primarily based in Bayswater but will be required to travel to Tullamarine and Campbellfield sites.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager in the budget planning linking into broader Australia and work on key capital projects as well.

    What you'll bring

    We're seeking a motivated, proactive and confident communicator. You will be known for your ability to build strong relationships across a variety of internal stakeholders, from the site floor to senior management. You will have:
  • CA or CPA Qualified
  • Proven working experience as a Senior Finance Analyst
  • Exposure to Cost Accounting will be highly desired as will experience with a large ERP system, like SAP
  • Site/manufacturing Finance or Supply Chain Finance experience
