The Company

You will be joining a leading Australian financial services organisation who put their customers first and prides themselves on diversity of people.

The Role

You will be part of a large project which has seen heavy investment from the organisation who truly look at ways to assist their customers.

You will work closely with 1st line Operational risk and the project team to ensure all risks are being considered whilst the program is hitting its objectives.

  • 5 + years of Operational Risk and Controls/ Risk Assurance or Chang/BA experience open to any industry (retail/customer service preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the effects on operational risks & controls brought on from change.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting risk assessments and reviews.
  • Experience in solutions, design and testing of controls.
  • Experience working in a change/project environment sprints/human centre design.
  • Prior experience working closely with the business (ideally 1st line) to implement controls and processes to mitigate risks and providing education, awareness and uplifting maturity.
  • Demonstrable capability providing assurance across risk, controls, treatments, events an audit items.
  • Highly refined written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment which offers full support and investment in its employees

  • We are looking for someone who can ask the right questions, we will consider BA's/Process engineers who have had risk exposure or someone from a technology risk background with exposure to automation, processes, controls and understand the associated risks.
