Description

As Assistant Accountant, you will carry out a number of various duties including:

• Delivery of financial reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Provide information to various budget holders in the business
• Analysis of financial data to support operational budget control and ongoing projects
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and capital expenditure
• Posting accruals and prepayments
• Nominal ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budget and reforecasting
• Ad hoc reporting of financial and non-financial MI
• Liaising with auditors

Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

• AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Experienced in a similar role
• Well organised and has the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Detailed in their approach
• Proactive and has good problem solving skills
• Flexible and able to support the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and requests
• Well versed with Excel
