Financial Accountant, circa £55,000, Peterborough, Permanent, Full-Time, Exclusive to Hays

Your new company
You will be working for a business that has a track record of success in their recent history, joining them as a Financial Accountant. This role is available on a full-time, permanent basis and will be office-based for the majority of the time. PLEASE NOTE - this role is strictly confidential at request f the business and the company name will not be disclosed until interview.

Your new role
This role offers you both the luxury and challenge of joining a well-established team; good at what they do but in need of an injection of fresh ideas and process improvements. With this in mind, you'll be showcasing your leadership skills through managing the small team. On top of driving those improvements, you will have day to day accounting responsibility for financial, management and statutory accounting. This will extend to VAT, cash and treasury management.

What you'll need to succeed
This role needs someone with drive and enthusiasm to bring fresh ideas, both within finance and across the wider business. You'll need to be a strong technical Accountant with a chartered qualification and good Excel skills too. Finally, it's crucial you're a strong people manager that has experience working in a role with similar duties to those outlined above.
