Role Summary:

As part of the ongoing growth of Experian’s Global Finance Services (GFS) organization, an experienced, motivated and proactive Finance Analyst is needed to provide the reporting and analysis required by Experian’s Group Financial Reporting function. This challenging role will be based in Experian’s Global Delivery Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and be part of the Group Reporting and Analytics Centre (GRAC), a key and growing part of the GFS team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting APAC Regional Business unit and Regional Corporate functions
  • Key activities: Month-end-close Flash & monthly forecast submission; support various ad-hoc analysis requests
  • Preparation of monthly reporting/analysis and forecasting information packs; working with business to understand performance, current issues and trends covering P&L and monitoring key KPI’s
  • Prepare various ad hoc financial analysis as required from time to time to support ongoing business decisions
  • Work closely with regional stakeholders to ensure month reporting and forecasting requirements are met (including data quality)
  • Annual budget submission and strategic plan
  • Prepare Cost & Headcount reports and productivity analysis
  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies in Regional FP&A

More about you:

  • Atleast 5-8 years experiences in the finance or FP&A including dealing with stakeholders in different global/regional locations
  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. A member of internationally recognized accountancy qualification, i.e. CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) would be added advantage
  • Stakeholders focused, strong business acumen, autonomous and fosters teamwork
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – with an ability to build complex financial models and graphs
  • Ability to work directly with senior management and manage within a matrix organization
  • Excellent communication skills
