Commercial division

A specialist division of AMPCSC. Providing brands & retailers with solutions across a range of platforms;

Media, Retail, Partnership & Key Accounts.

Working within the AMP Capital property portfolio, The Commercial Team drive key stakeholder value by

complimenting and transforming the shopping centre environment and shopper experience through

innovative and engaging revenue-based assets and opportunities.

Purpose of the role

To substantially add value to the company and shareholder wealth through;

• Supporting the Commercial Team and Divisional Commercial Managers with regular finance

reporting, finance processes and other coordination tasks

• Coordinate stakeholder input for budget and forecast deliverables within the Commercial Team

• Assisting with the timely and efficient allocation and receipting of client payments.

• Lead and oversee the reporting implementation for the Commercial Team using Salesforce and

Tableau

• Liaise with internal finance teams, including presentation preparation, debt processing and

distribution of budgets and forecasts.

• Ensuring accuracy between all systems including RMS9+, JDE, Cougar and Salesforce.

• Track revenue and costs across projects

• Role focussed on coordination of business unit and stakeholder reporting across the Commercial

Team and communication to wider Retail business.

• Accurate and real-time reporting

The Role:
  • Regular Finance tasks and coordination: Weekly sales and arrears reporting for the Commercial Team and wider Retail team. Assist with arrears reconciliations when required and ensure the timely and accurate processing of bad and doubtful debt
  • Administer and ensure accuracy of all data across systems, including Salesforce, Tableau and JDE.
  • Budget and forecast: Coordinate all inputs for budget and forecast processesLiaise with Divisional Commercial Managers to collate information for budget and forecast requirementsPresent draft budget and forecast to General Manager, Commercial and Divisional Commercial
  • Gift Card finance support; Monthly gift card reporting including sales, redemptions and reconciliation status.Assist in preparing relevant reports for analysis and insight into the gift card programResponsibility for gift card CSA requirements to be completed quarterly liaising with centre teams, finance managers and Commercial teamCollate information for chargebacks and fraud prevention mechanismsGenerate and distribute gift card reports as and when required by all stakeholdersWork with external parties to ensure gift card reporting meets internal requirements
  • Reporting improvement and framework: Drive consistent reporting improvement for the Commercial teamImplement a consistent reporting framework considering audience, purpose and frequencyAssist with the transition of regular reporting to Tableau and Salesforce working with resources from data and technologyEnsure excellent attention to detail across all reports and outputs

  • The Person

    • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred

    • Driver's licence and access to own vehicle essential

    • Retail Property experience preferred

    • Finance and/or finance coordination experience preferred

    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills essential
