Interim Finance Project Manager

Your new company
My Client is an entrepreneurial Financial Services group based in Manchester. With a track record of continued growth and success. They are currently embarking on their next chapter of their journey, resulting in a key appointment to support the business on an interim basis.

Your new role
In this unique opportunity, you will be based in the organisations Manchester office. You will act as an Interim Project Manager to assist the business through a period of commercial change, reporting directly in to the Group Financial Controller. You will be managing senior stake holders across the business to support project outcomes by facilitating meetings and workshops. Whilst liaising across the key Finance departments, Business Change, and IT, you will provide input on behalf of Group Finance to key project meetings. Finally, you will be the Finance lead on the GL upgrade project, liaising between Financial Accounts and Financial Operation to deliver substantial control improvements and efficiencies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of working within high profile commercially focussed projects with a track record of delivering in under high pressure. Experience of being able to manage up and down and present to senior stake holders is crucial. The client will favour candidates who have previous experience within Financial Services.

What you'll get in return
The assignment will pay up to £55k + benefits and bonus. You will be part of high profile and business critical project. Although this is only initially a 6 month project, there is a likelihood that the contract will be extended.
