Financial Accountant

Finance Department

HS3 - HS4 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Permanent Full Time

(80 hrs per fortnight) with ADO

Applications are invited from experienced and suitably qualified professional to join our dedicated Finance team as a Financial Accountant. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure relevant financial information is effectively and efficiently reported to major stakeholders to be used in making informed decisions. The successful applicant will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, which includes supervising team members, rostering and leave management and ensuring all financial deadlines are met.

Key Selection Criteria


  • Bachelor of Business in Accounting

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Ability to meet deadlines as required

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to operate with flexibility in an environment of change

  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

  • Satisfactory Police Check

  • Demonstrated achievement in either public practice or the public/private sector

  • Desirable:

  • Accounting experience in the Health Sector

  • CPA or CA equivalent
