About the Role

My client is a successful fund manager who are looking to expand their Global Operations team. This role will be assisting with the management of Investment Funds and Mandates through operational accounting and processes. There will be exposure to a range of Custodians and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience reporting for equities and/or debt, however this is desirable but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements for Board sign-off
  • Participating in APRA Regulatory reporting
  • Oversight of external and internal audit requirements
  • Responsible for quarterly & yearly due diligence of key external vendors
  • Financial & Statutory reporting under IFRS, US GAAP and UK GAAP
  • Responsible for ad hoc analysis including cost allocation and business operations
  • Assist with a broad range of team projects

  • Key Requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience in financial accounting with a Fund Manager or Custodian
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Understanding of concepts such as unit pricing, trusts and distributions is favourable
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a team environment
  • Strong Financial and Markets knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, regulations and governance
