    The role:

    You'll support and initiate actions in the Credit Risk Department to correctly manage escalations for credit risk enquiries and ensure the appropriate balance between working capital constraints, revenue growth, long term profitability improvement and risk reduction is achieved. You'll ensure high risk customers are identified and plans are in place to reduce the exposure and protect Ampol'sinterest. This role will have no direct reports but will act as an informal 2IC to the Manager.

    This is a permanent role, based at Sydney CBD, with work from home options, however we are undertaking a permanent office move mid- August to Alexandria.

    Duties:
  • Undertake the credit assessment process of new customers and ongoing customer credit review process for B2B customers
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external customers to complete credit assessments
  • Negotiate with customers to mitigate credit risks and manage financial security arrangements
  • Responsible for the daily credit risk management function
  • Ensure that the team is delivering the highest standard of customer service
  • Undertake Financial analysis for B2B customers

  • Experience Required:
  • Tertiary qualified in Accounting/Finance
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion desirable
  • Sound experience in Credit Risk Management, or an Accounting/Commercial Finance based role
  • Insolvency and Financial analysis experience are highly advantageous
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated capability to deliver clear analytical insights
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the Business, both internal and external stakeholders
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and email applications
