Page Personnel are excited to be working with a very exciting business to recruit a Management Accountant to join their busy accountancy team based in Flint. You will act as the number two in finance working closely with the Financial Controller on-site on key business projects and take ownership of monthly management accounts

Due to continued demand within the growing department they are seeking a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to take ownership of the management accounts and assist the Financial Controller with key business projects and growth plans.
Description
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the management accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Creating monthly, weekly management reports, budgets and financial statements
- Creating and implementing new business reports
- Accruals, prepayments & journals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts
- Annual budgeting and forecasting assistance
- Supporting with year end statutory accounts & audits where required
- Overseeing transactional team where required
- Meeting deadlines and monitor the company's financial KPI's and analysing trends over time
- Implementing new ideas and methods to improve and streamline processes
- Adhoc tasks as required by the Financial Controller
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will:
- Have experience producing monthly management accounts
- Excellent reporting skills
- Very confident communicating with key stakeholders and internal departments
- Qualified or part qualified in ACCA/CIMA/AAT
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of Sage50 would be an advantage
- Ability to perform tasks independently
- A team player
- Honest & trustworthy
- Strong time management skills
- Flexible approach to work
- Always work to a very high standard
