A superb opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a successful group of companies based in Blackpool, with great commuter links with the M55.

Reporting to a highly experienced FD the successful Management Accountant will work with autonomy and take responsibility for the Accounts Team and their performance.

Duties will include :

• Cash control for various entities within the Group
• Accruals, Prepayments and Deferred Income control and check for correctness including adjusting journals
• Daily bank reports including showing what is due to creditors as that date
• Payroll and PAYE Ledger Reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations for various entities within the Group
• VAT Reconciliations and check for correct VAT codes applications
• Budgeting and Budget forecast
• Cashflow forecasts
• Check and control of Fixed Asset register
• P&L variance analysis
• Weekly and monthly payroll, HMRC submission and year end procedures
• Responsibility for a team of 5

The successful Management Accountant will have had experience in a similar role with the ability to "hit the ground running". Flexible home working is available along with a generous holiday and pension package.
