Senior Accountant - Audit

My client is one of the longest established Manchester accountancy firms having been in business for over 50 years. They are looking to recruit a senior accountant to join their practice.

Does working within a firm that offers great development and career growth? The successful candidate will be supporting the Partners whilst being responsible for the day to day running of a large client portfolio of large companies, SME's and charities.The work will involve the preparation and audit of statutory accounts for a wide variety of businesses, primarily corporate & SME but including charities and solicitors. The role will also include the preparation of management and year-end accounts for partnerships and other un-incorporated businesses as well as providing general business advisory support and end of year tax computations.

The Role Will Involve

• Ensuring that the firm's standard processes are using in the production of audit and accounts work
• Ensuring that your team has a training plan and ensuring that they can access all the training and development opportunities relevant to them
• Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of the systems used
• Keeping up to date with internal policies, procedures and announcements

The Successful Candidate Will

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience of leading various audits
