Our client, a Government Department based in Bathurst, are looking for a Finance HR Advisor to provide advice and support to the Senior Accountant and Senior HR Advisor with creating and updating procedures relevant to the Finance and HR functions.

Key Duties:
  • Provide effective delivery of day to day financial operations: data processing, raising purchase orders, goods receipting and processing invoices for payment
  • Assist in responding to requests of financial information, including requests from auditors, DCS and internal staff
  • Coordinate the recruitment activities ensuring the practices are in line with the requirements of the GSE Act
  • Improve the efficiency of the HR department and provide first level HR advice to staff
  • Coordinate activities relating to building and equipment operations

  • The successful candidate:
  • Experience in accounts payable, general journals and preparing financial reconciliations
  • Experience in HR functions, including payroll
  • Being able to prioritise and work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Empathy and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • Satisfactory Police Check
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence

  • Working Hours: 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
