We are looking for a talented Systems Accountant to join our high performing, dynamic Finance Team based at our Asia Pacific Headquarters in Scoresby. It is essential that the person has strong knowledge of Movex and/or Oracle based ERP system to confidently operate as the link between finance and the operational teams (segments) with regards to financial systems.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Supports a specific finance system as the business segment or functional subject matter expert
  • Collaborates with finance leaders and subject matter experts within the business segment or organization to support information needs of the business
  • Identifies and leads finance systems improvement projects within the business segment or corporate function
  • Partners with Information Technology teams and project management specialists to develop, test and deliver finance systems solutions.
  • Assists endusers in developing customized reports and ad hoc analysis.
  • Identifies, evaluates and documents internal controls in a business process; understands the company's approach to internal controls.
  • Trains endusers to expedite adoption of new system solutions.
  • Coaches and mentors' financial analysts

  • To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Systems Accountant role within a similar or aligned industry
  • Experience with MOVEX and/or Oracle based ERP /SQL
  • Strong project management skills with superior problemsolving skills
  • Solid finance functional Insight
  • Ability to manages ambiguity and navigate a matrixed organisation
  • Strong communicator with good stakeholder focus & management skills
  • Ability to convert technical systems language to laymen's terms
  • Previous experience managing small team
