About the Role

The purpose of the Digital Transformation Product Manager role is to deliver on BOQ's digital transformation agenda across the Everyday Banking product portfolio (debit cards, credit cards, payments, etc.).

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving transformation at BOQ and will bring a passion for the customer, solution focus, and strong commercial acumen to drive better business and customer outcomes.

BOQ are embarking on a significant transformation to deliver market leading everyday banking experiences for our customers on new technology. It's an exciting time to join BOQ and contribute to this transformation!

Key responsibilities include:
  • Drive the execution of Everyday Banking (debit cards/credit cards/payments) product and process changes resulting from BOQ Group's transformation journey
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the cards/payments business across digital transformation projects
  • Accountable for decision making and escalations on behalf of the Everyday Banking team
  • Report on project performance against targets and milestones
  • Leverage strong stakeholder and change management capabilities to execute within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Identify and execute product initiatives to drive cost efficiencies, product simplification and better customer experiences
  • Proactively identify portfolio risks and appropriately managing portfolio risk controls

  • About You
  • At least 3-5 years banking or financial services experience
  • A tertiary qualification in Business or Finance degree desire
  • Demonstrated end-to-end development and delivery of successful large scale product initiatives
  • Experience working with Card (i.e., debit, credit) and/or Payments, as well as Payment schemes and/or card management systems
  • Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills and stakeholder management to drive business outcomes
  • Understand the regulatory environment and liaise with the Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to ensure the business meets legal and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with customer experience team and partner to ensure products and services meet required levels
  • Confident in management reports and commentary
  • Proven experience at presentation at all levels of the organisation
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
