  • The role

    Reporting to the Managing Partner who is focused on process improvements , the role involves
  • Running the monthly close process and preparing management P&L and B/S statements
  • Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual compliance requirements (e.g. BAS / IAS, FBT return, QBCC MFR Report, etc)
  • Preparing business analysis of billings, performance indicators and levers
  • Preparing ad-hoc interim report requirements for credit agencies
  • Managing all tools of trade provision across the organisation
  • Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Preparing payroll for 30 staff and superannuation and PAYG withholding tax

  • You will focus on
  • internal and external client relationships
  • continuous process improvement ,
  • Technology best practice -Excel , Affinity and MS office
  • Commercial Focus-sensible non red tape approach
  • CA or CPA qualifications, previous 5 years' experience within in a smaller entrepreneurial proffessional service organiation and prefer legal firm expertience (not large Corporates )
  • Willingness to be hands and get involved in all aspects of the busienss to guide performace and costs
