What is the Opportunity?

A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant with excellent attention to detail to join our team based in Canning Vale.

The full-time role is primarily responsible for intercompany accounts payable processing, rental revenue reporting, Fixed Asset accounting, payroll administration, general ledger maintenance and reconciliation as well as other general accounting matters.

The role will involve the following duties:
  • Accurate and timely processing of intercompany invoices/transactions and Netting payments.
  • Responsible for rental invoice reporting to customers and internal quarterly reports.
  • Payroll processing
  • Responsible for the processing of expense claims and reimbursements to employees as well as maintenance and reconciliation of promaster used for credit card expenses.
  • Fixed Assets Register maintenance and monthly depreciation schedules.
  • Processing and timely submission of corporate returns including BAS, PAYG & FBT
  • Assist the Management Accountant & Senior Manager Finance Australia in general accounting and finance duties as and when required
  • Be aware of Internal Control policies and procedures

  • Skills and Experience

    To be successful in this position, you will possess:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a finance team environment
  • Studying towards an Accounting Qualification CA/CPA
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Experience with SAP ERP highly regarded
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High attention to detail and solutions focused.
  • High level of organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to monitor, review and analyse financial data
  • Ability to prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
