My client are an international Musical Instrument making company and have adapted using technology in making clearer sound effects. They are renowned for helping music makers and sound designers bring their creative ideas to life, they have a strong presence in the US and currently experiencing new channels of opportunity in emerging markets. Selling both hardware (70%) and software (30%) to both professionals and amateurs.


Your new role
My client are looking for an interim Financial Controller to join for a 3 months contract as they are transitioning their finance functions, they had implemented NetSuite ERP system and are looking for a finance personnel to assist them with the process. The responsibilities of this position includes managing the month-end process, reconciliation of the data in the General Ledger, reconcile the daily transactions including sales, invoices, discount invoices, revenue etc, managing the VAT and reconciling the international VAT accounts. This role sits above a team of 4, taking responsibility for running the finance function, whilst reporting into an operational CFO and FD.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role would be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with experience with Netsuite preferably, worked in a subscription-led revenue model, hardware and B2C culture business.
