Job Details
To work closely with the Finance Controller and other senior stakeholdrs. Preparing monthly management accountants for review by Financial Controller

Growing SME in Surrey focusing on protection services.
Description
- Preparing monthly management accountants for review by Financial Controller
- Working with the Financial Controller on the preparation of board packs, quarterly management accounts and year end accounts
- Bank Reconciliations and other general reconciliations
- Assisting the Financial Controller in managing a team
- Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
- VAT Returns and developments in VAT regulations and other statutory requirements
- Supporting non finance managers to identify variances
- Business Partner with area managers to understand budgets and accounts
- Ensure all income and expenditure is recorded accurately and timely in the accounts and reviewed in line with approved budgets
Profile
- Strong Excel skills (including Vlookup, pivot tables etc) is a must
- Experience in a similar role
- Self-starting and able to manage conflicting priorities
- Management Accounts preparation experience required
- CIMA / ACCA qualified
- Ability to extract meaningful information from large amounts of data
- Great attention to detail
- Adaptable
- Flexible to change
- Team player
