Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are thrilled to be partnering with Bulten once again on an exclusive basis. Bulten is one of the leading suppliers of fasteners to the European automotive industry and are extremely well established within the market. Due to a period of sustained growth, they are now looking to onboard a permanent Payroll and HR Administrator to their team. This role will be full time, 35 hours per week.

Your new role
Reporting into the HR Manager, your role will be to provide comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of the Payroll and HR function. You will be accountable for the company payroll processes within the UK, processing a monthly payroll for approximately 100 employees. You will maintain and update all HR information including personnel files and the entry of data onto the HR system. Information must be kept up to date and accurate on both a paper and electronic basis. You will maintain all payroll information including the preparation of all data entry, meeting deadlines and submitting the payroll to a 3rd party provider. It is your responsibility to prepare and process the monthly payroll information from across the business, working closely alongside the HR Manager and Finance Manager to ensure consistent, timely and accurate inputting. You will be the first point of contact for any queries relating to HR policies, absences, payroll and benefits.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience maintaining the payroll function in a recent and relevant role. You will be a strong communicator and a good team player. You must be able to prioritise workload in order to consistently meet tight deadlines. This person must be attentive to detail to ensure any discrepancies are spotted and resolved in a timely manner. A CIPP or CIPD qualification is preferred but this is not essential. You will be able to work well under pressure and have commercial and financial awareness.
