  • The Role

    The Finance Analyst will provide strategic support and analysis of financial and non-financial data to the business in order to facilitate informed decision-making.

    This role is based in our Sydney CBD office.
  • Drive high-level accounting and financial management services, consistent with organisation policy and procedures, Treasury Instructions, Government guidelines and Australian and other relevant accounting standards
  • Preparemonthly management reports, forecasting and budgeting
  • Involvement in financial statement audit processes and other regulatory reporting activities
  • Promote a culture of excellence and financial control to ensure financial targets are met
  • Provide support and drive efficiency in external client finance delivery teams to achieve self-delivery
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships

  • Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Financial Analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and SQL proficiency is required
  • CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Excellent understanding of commercial accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in budgeting and forecasting workflows/processes
  • Efficient with preparing complex management reports and performing complex calculations and analysis
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16 is advantageous
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible & innovative approach
