We are looking for a bright and confident Financial Database Assistant to join a leading law firm based in Essex.

This role will suit someone that has previously worked in accounts and can confidently work with IT systems and databases.



Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Fee Earner's capturing of financial information ensuring it is accurate and in accordance with their standard rates.
  • Establishing rate exception groups to ensure that Clients are billed accurately.
  • Participating in investigations of the month-end billing rejection reports
  • Perform conflict of interest searches through the firm's internal financial system.
  • Assist the financial operations Analysts with matter management.
  • Engaging in the handling and processing of matter transfers and performing updates to details where appropriate.
  • Candidate Experience:

  • Good Level of IT sufficiency
  • Able to work with Word and Excel to a high standard.
  • Previous accounts experience is a not essential but desired.
  • Strong team player and excellent communicator
  • Ambitious with a professional working attitude
