We are looking for a bright and confident Financial Database Assistant to join a leading law firm based in Essex.

This role will suit someone that has previously worked in accounts and can confidently work with IT systems and databases.

Responsibilities:

Monitor Fee Earner's capturing of financial information ensuring it is accurate and in accordance with their standard rates.

Establishing rate exception groups to ensure that Clients are billed accurately.

Participating in investigations of the month-end billing rejection reports

Perform conflict of interest searches through the firm's internal financial system.

Assist the financial operations Analysts with matter management.

Engaging in the handling and processing of matter transfers and performing updates to details where appropriate.

Candidate Experience:

Good Level of IT sufficiency

Able to work with Word and Excel to a high standard.

Previous accounts experience is a not essential but desired.

Strong team player and excellent communicator

Ambitious with a professional working attitude
