Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by a leading, dynamic and commercial employer based in Romford to recruit a Senior Payroll Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Working as a key member of an established Finance department, the Senior Payroll Assistant will report into the Financial Controller and assume responsibility for all payroll matters across the business.

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process the payroll on both a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Daily use of Sage and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Calculate all payroll amendments including SSP, SMP, SPP alongside starters & leavers.
  • Prepare and process commission and bonus payments.
  • Preparation of payroll reports on a periodic basis for the Financial Controller.
  • Resolve payroll queries from staff, escalating where required.
  • Production of payslips and all other payroll documentation.
