New Senior Management Accountant opportunity with a high profile client based in Northampton.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident Qualified or Finalist level Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Manufacturing Accountant with a proven background in cost and management accounting gained from working within manufacturing or Production.
Reporting to the Financial Controller for the Northampton site, the Senior Management Accountant role offers a great opportunity for personal development with a well know and well respected global brand. The new Senior Management Accountant will play a vital role in the continued growth of the business and will be heavily responsible in providing detailed forecasting into the business to support their growth strategies.
You must be a qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant.
The Senior Management Accountant responsibilities will include;
• Support the completion of the annual budgets and forecast with regular review to strict deadlines
• Complete month end close within 5 working days and provide detailed and insightful information for the Financial Controller and the board of directors
• Manage the accruals & prepayments
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Complete month end close in SAP
• Produce & report on weekly forecasts & KPIs to the senior management team on divisional performance and look at measure to improve and enhance profits.
• Supporting the product costing process including resolving any issues on BOMs and standard costings
• Support the finance tam with other projects and tasks
• Support the commercial team with information to support decision on new or existing contracts
• Support the Financial Controller on audits
• Produce weekly stock reporting and inventory and work with the supply chain team on the accuracy o reporting of stock
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist Purchase & Sales Ledger teams and review of the ledgers to ensure the management accounts are accurate.
• Calculate VAT returns & ONS submissions.
The role is a full time, permanent opportunity with salary £45,000 to £55,000.
