12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Business Analyst to work on the companies payroll system implementation project.

About the Role

This role based out of the companies Newcastle office will be working on there payroll implementation and provide technical support. As a Business Analyst, your role, working in a team in an often-ambiguous environment, is to identify, prioritize and update technical and functional requirements as they emerge across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

In addition, you may also be required to:
  • Document operational handover processes and procedures
  • Create test scripts to validate requirements
  • Update the requirements test matrix
  • Lead issue and problem-solving meetings as they relate to defects, business requirements and solution
  • Raise and update Risks and Issues
  • Engage with Vendor and Business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to document requirements and problem solve
  • Support documentation and testing of implementation tasks
  • Support post implementation and warranty activities

  • 12 month fixed term contract with an opporutnity for extension.

    Skills & Experience Required
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience as a business analyst
  • Experience working on a payroll system implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to work productively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Skilled with PM and Organizational tools (Jira, MS Office, MS Project)
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to deal with changing priorities
