This is a new role with lots of opportunity for progression and growth. The Finance Manager will be a part of a wider team who are all responsible for the finance function, monthly reporting, and month end processes.

Finance Manager Responsibilities

• Preparation and posting of entries to the general ledger
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and month end tasks
• Audit queries and control compliance
• Profit & loss monthly reports
• Preparation and processing of payroll
• Tax and wider finance projects
• Delivery of the monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts.

Finance Manager Requirements:

• Part Qualified to a minimum level 3 AAT or working towards level 4
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• An analytical mindset, the ability to challenge existing ways of working
• A track record of resolving problems from identification through to remediation
• Confidence to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Track record of working to tight timescales
• Drive to continuously improve
• Tenacious with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in accountancy ideally within Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Logistics, Construction, or Engineering.
