Management Accountant - near Luton - up to £60k + benefits

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant, with Xero experience, to join a growing multi-site dental organisation at their Head Office near Luton.

This is an exciting time to join the company as the dental industry is changing and our client is looking to grow, so we're looking for a highly proficient Management Accountant who can contribute to the strategic and commercial growth of the business.

Reporting to the owner and executives, the Management Accountant will manage the workflow of data required to complete the management accounts including reviewing processes and systems and understanding how they integrate. Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of Power BI, Power Query and Power Pivot and experience with NHS dental contracts is preferable.

Key responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

Analysing financial performance, developing budgets and forecastsMonthly management accounts (including variance analysis / commentary), KPI reporting and flash figures (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, covenant performance), including accruals and prepayments, revenue reconciliation and periodic journalsMonthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset control Contributing to the strategic and commercial growth of the business including reviewing and analysing the tendering of new contractsManaging the workflow of data required to complete management accountsProcessing monthly payroll and associate pay and providing oversight to bookkeeping functionsLiaising with external accountants as required (audits, statutory accounts and tax etc.)Statutory filings as required Plus more

What we're looking for:

Previous Management Accountant experience, ideally in a multi-site organisationAAT / ACCA full or part qualified Proficiency in Xero accounting softwareExperience of Power BI, Power Query and Power Pivot highly desirableExperience with NHS dental contracts is highly beneficialMoneysoft payroll manager experience is preferredExperience if managing monthly management accounts, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset controlStrategic business acumenPositive, motivated and personable nature
