Gleeson finance are delighted to be working with this FTSE 250 business, to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting in to the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and associated reports for the logistics side of the business. You will be business partnering with the wider company, liaising with operational managers and directors.

Key duties include weekly reporting, oversee and reconcile transactions in JDE, assist & complete the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts; assist with the quarterly forecast and annual budget process, implement process improvements, build effective working relationships with management and the wider business, and the preparation of management accounts.

In order to be considered, you will be actively studying for a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), or newly qualified. You will have experience of hands on finance, and have ambitions to become a Business Partner. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the desire to take on ownership and responsibility. Good Excel skills are essential.
