Due to a key member of the team going on maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Finance team. We are looking for someone to join the team as an Assistant Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of tasks and responsibilities within the Hillarys finance team, and reports to the Financial Accounts and Compliance Manager.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Take an active involvement in financial month end process
  • Assist with the Fixed Asset register & audit
  • Assist with Duty rate and reporting within SAP
  • Complete of all Irish VAT returns
  • Complete of Intrastat reporting
  • Assist the commercial management accountant with reporting
  • Ad hoc investigation and reporting as required by various areas within Finance

About you

The successful and ideal candidate:

  • AAT Qualification is desirable or be working towards.
  • Experience of using SAP is desirable
  • Confident communicating with the wider business and an effective telephone manner
  • Confident using MS office - Excel, Outlook, Word
