I am currently working alongside a market leading business who are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing finance team in their Luton office....
Key Responsibilities but not all:
- Drive team performance in purchase to pay processes
- Introduce automated key performance and exception indicators to measure and manage process performance
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable function within the overall plan
- Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, Staff Expenses and Indirect Procurement controls and procedures
- Cash Forecasting (Daily, Monthly, Annually)
- Ensure all invoices, credit notes and adjustments are processed by team in an efficiently manner
- Bacs files for Supplier payments and AR Refunds according to the agreed payment calendar
- Ensure all AP team members reconcile statements monthly according to requirements
- Ensure accurate coding of orders/invoices
- Ensure all supplier accounts where debit balances are present are chased for the monies
- Ensure Accounts Payable Team have all expense claims checked, processed
- Own the month end open and close process for AP / Cash & Bank / Purchasing
Ideal candidates will have excellent leadership skills and will have a hands on approach with an eagerness to get stuck into the details. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach.
