Job Description
Support Manager and Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting to perform financial accounting, consolidation, review and reporting Performing calculation for Transfer Pricing Preparation of quarterly financials for US entities Analyze and perform accounting for Insurance and Litigation Liaising with US Tax team for Transfer Pricing and US Quarterly Financials related matters Completion of Quarterly Controller Package - to identify and resolve/clean up any long outstanding or invalid items Completion of Financials Statement during year end Perform review and reconciliation of IFRS 16 for submission to Singapore Group GFAR Assist and coordinate between VA Team and IFRS 16 team to ensure that vessels' related ROU & LL are accounted for appropriately Review of accounting for Corporate Liner Submission of commitment schedules for Group reporting Responsible for respective sections' periodic submission to Group Attend to any ad hoc request and contribute to problem solving for ad hoc issues which arise during period close
Job Requirement
Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting. Professional Degree in Accounting (CPA, ACCA & CA etc.) is preferred 5 years of working experience (2-3 years in audit) Proficient in accounting standard Experience in SAP, BPC or equivalent Consolidation tools highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Words Strong team player, dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills, ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure Team player with ability to work independently, good analytical skills with attention to detail, proactive
